We are CheerAI LLC (“CheerAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We operate Game Anything at gameanything.com, including browser games, creator tools, competitions, and related browser extensions (the “Platform” or “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal data when you visit or use the Platform. Please also read our Terms of Service (terms and conditions).
Questions about this Policy can be sent through our Contact Us page or via cheerai.co.
The Platform is intended for visitors and users who are thirteen (13) years of age or older (or the applicable minimum age in your country, if higher). If you are under that age, the Platform is not intended for you, and you must not create an account or provide personal information.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under thirteen (13) (or under the applicable minimum age). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age, we will delete it and may terminate the related account.
When you create an account with email, you must confirm that you meet the age requirement and accept our Terms and this Privacy Policy. If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or another provider, that provider’s age and account rules also apply; we receive only the profile information they share with us for sign-in.
Personal data is information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you—for example your name, email address, username, or gameplay records tied to your account. We recommend not using your real name as a public username or sharing unnecessary personal details in games or competitions.
If you create an account or sign in, we may process:
We use this data to create and authenticate your account, provide account features, prevent fraud, and communicate about your account when needed. Legal bases may include performing our contract with you, your consent (where required), and our legitimate interests in securing the Platform.
Depending on features you use, we may process usernames, scores, maze layouts you publish, play counts, and similar competition or progress data so we can operate leaderboards, shared challenges, and related Platform features.
Our Maze browser extensions (such as Classic Maze) store a de-identified, randomly generated browser ID in your extension’s local storage. That ID is not your name, email, Google account, or other login identity. It is used only to group competitions you publish from that extension install (for example, “My Competitions”).
Gameplay itself (maze layout, timer, moves) runs in your browser. We receive maze-related data from the extension only when you choose to act—for example:
Published competitions are visible to others on Game Anything. You can avoid sending maze data from the extension by not using Create Competition or related optional actions. We may also collect limited analytics events from extensions (see Google Analytics below) to understand usage and improve the product.
These extensions run as a translucent page-overlay game. Game progress (such as score, wave, weapons, and ammo) is stored locally in your browser. We may collect limited analytics events (for example difficulty selection, restart, or button clicks) via Google Analytics to understand usage and improve the product. Opening Power-Ups or related web games on gameanything.com (such as Silicon Invasion) is optional and only happens when you choose those actions; website use is then covered by this Policy.
If you contact us, we process the name, email, and message content you provide so we can respond.
Like most websites, we and our service providers may collect IP address, browser type, device/platform information, referring pages, timestamps, and similar technical data to operate, secure, and improve the Platform. See the Cookies and analytics sections below.
We may share personal data with:
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense of selling customer lists. If advertising or similar technologies are enabled in the future, we will update this Policy and provide required notices and choices.
A cookie is a small piece of data stored on your device. Essential cookies may be required for the site to function (for example sessions). Other cookies may help us understand usage or support advertising partners when ads are enabled.
You can configure your browser to refuse cookies; some features may not work correctly if cookies are blocked. Third-party cookies (for example from Google) are subject to those parties’ policies.
Our website and extensions may use standard log files. Data such as IP addresses, browser type, ISP, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time, and click counts may be used to analyze trends, administer the site, and understand aggregate usage.
We may use Google Analytics to understand how the Platform is used, including our website and related browser extensions. On the website, Google Analytics may use cookies; information such as visit timing and IP address may be processed by Google. In browser extensions, we may send limited usage or interaction events to Google Analytics (for example using a locally stored analytics client or session identifier). You can learn about browser opt-out options at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
We may use Google Tag Manager to manage tags on the site. Tag Manager itself is primarily a deployment tool; tags it loads may collect data under their own policies. See Google Tag Manager use policy.
Advertising on the Platform may be enabled or disabled depending on configuration. When ads are shown, ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their policies and any consent tools we provide. You can also use industry opt-out tools such as aboutads.info/choices where applicable.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including operating accounts, providing features, security, and legal compliance. Account data is generally retained until you request deletion or the account is closed, unless we must keep information longer for legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute reasons.
Inactive accounts may be deleted or archived after a period of inactivity; where we have an email address, we may notify you in advance when practical.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal data, to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and to object to certain processing. You may also close your account where that option is available.
To exercise these rights, contact us via Contact Us. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your region.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Platform may link to third-party sites or include experiences operated by others. Their privacy practices are their own. We encourage you to read their policies before providing personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy where permitted by law. Material changes may also be communicated through the Platform or by email when appropriate.
