🎮Gameplay

1. Click on a card to reveal the image hidden beneath it.

3. If the two revealed images are identical, their cards will vanish from the board. If not, they will be hidden again.

4. Keep searching for pairs until you've matched all the images.

5. The game ends when you've successfully cleared the board of all eight pairs.

⚠️Please Keep in Mind

1. You can only reveal two images at a time.

2. Pay attention and keep in mind the spots where the two distinct images were displayed. You have only one second before they disappear.

🧠Memory Technique

Open cells in deliberate pairs from different quadrants to spread information across the grid mentally. Name images silently ("red rocket," "blue fish") to engage verbal memory alongside visual. On 4×4 boards, corners are anchor points—pair them first to reduce unknown space quickly.

Avoid random clicking; each failed pair costs tempo and increases cognitive load when cards re-hide.

🔧Progression Design

Grid dimensions grow only after consistent clears, preventing frustration spikes. Matched pairs animate out with distinct timing so players perceive board shrinkage as progress feedback. Treat the first flip as information gathering—even a miss tells you two locations to avoid pairing until their partners appear elsewhere. Consistent quadrant scanning beats random exploration on every board size. Timed bonus rounds, when enabled, reward players who already built a mental map before the clock starts. Picture themes rotate between animals, vehicles, and abstract shapes so children and adults both get recognizable anchors.
