Laser Maze is a beam-routing puzzle adventure where you walk maze rooms while steering light toward receivers and powered exits. Rotate mirrors, flip switches, and unlock gates — all while staying clear of live beams that stop your run.
Early levels teach one mechanic at a time; later stages combine mirrors, colored receivers, switches, and gate dependencies into multi-step puzzles.
🎮Gameplay Mechanics
1. Movement
- Move with WASD or arrow keys through each puzzle room.
- Avoid stepping into active laser beams — they will stop your run.
- Plan your walking route alongside your beam-routing strategy.
2. Mirrors and Beams
- Rotate nearby mirrors with Space/Enter or by clicking a mirror tile directly.
- Mirror / reflects beams: Up→Right, Left→Down.
- Every beam path updates in real time so you can see the result instantly.
3. Targets and Switches
- Route colored lasers into matching receivers to progress.
- Hit beam targets and switches to open blocked gates.
- Some gates require multiple steps — power receivers before trying to reach the goal.
4. Win Condition
- Power the goal tile with the correct laser color.
- Reach the powered goal to clear the level.
- Twelve handcrafted levels with escalating puzzle depth await.
5. Undo, Reset, and Hints
- Use Undo to test mirror angles without starting over.
- Reset the level anytime to return to the opening layout.
- Hints help when you are stuck but reduce your efficiency score — save them for key bottlenecks.
