Guide a snake across floating stones, collect every apple, and reach the exit without falling into the river — ten levels of precision puzzle routing.

📖How to Play

Each apple makes your snake longer — plan your path carefully so your growing body still fits on the stones.

🎮Gameplay Mechanics

1. Control the Snake

  • Use arrow keys to move the snake through each map.
  • The snake moves tile by tile — every step counts toward your route plan.
  • Think ahead before committing to a direction.

2. Stay on Stones

  • Cross the river by moving only on floating stones.
  • Water ends the level instantly if any part of the snake slips off a stone.
  • Always keep part of your snake anchored on solid ground.

3. Collect Apples

  • Pick up every apple on the level to unlock the exit.
  • Each apple makes your snake longer, tightening the space you have to work with.
  • Plan apple order carefully when they sit in tricky positions.

4. Reach the Exit

  • The exit opens only after all apples are collected.
  • Navigate your full snake body to the exit without falling.
  • Longer snakes need wider stone paths — scout routes before you grow.

5. Level Progression

  • Ten progressively harder levels test your planning skills.
  • Retry replays the current level; Restart returns you to Level 1.
  • Each stage adds new stone layouts and apple placements to solve.

💡Tips for Success

1. Plan Before You Move

  • Trace the full route — including your growing tail — before picking up the first apple.

2. Keep the Tail on Stone

  • Always leave part of the snake on a stone while the head explores forward.

3. Collect Edge Apples First

  • Apples near the water's edge are hardest with a long body — grab them early.

4. Use Retry Liberally

  • A single wrong turn with a long snake is hard to recover — restart the level quickly.

5. Watch Body Length

  • After each apple, re-check whether your planned exit route still fits on the stones.

Can you cross every stone, collect every apple, and beat all ten levels? Move precisely, plan ahead, and master Bridge the Snake!

🧠Design & Strategy

Bridge the Snake merges drawing mechanics with snake movement. You sketch bridges across gaps while the snake continues forward—planning must stay one step ahead of locomotion. Overbuilding wastes ink or time; underbuilding sends the snake plunging.

Spatial foresight beats fast reflexes once multiple gaps stack in sequence.
